Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data zem collects, why we collect it, how we store it, and the rights you have over it.

What data we collect

  • Account information. When you create an account we collect your name or display name, email address, and a password (stored only as a secure hash).
  • Phone number. If you submit a listing or ask to be contacted, we collect the phone number you provide.
  • Listings you submit. The property details, descriptions, photos, price, and location you choose to publish.
  • Usage data. Basic technical information such as your approximate region, device and browser type, and the pages you view, used to operate and improve the service. We do not sell your data.

Why we collect it

  • To display your listings and let other users contact you about the property.
  • To contact you about your own listings — for example, to confirm a listing is still available or to resolve a problem.
  • To verify your phone number via messengers (Telegram, Viber, or WhatsApp), only if you explicitly opt in. Verification increases trust in your listing and is never required to browse the site.
  • To operate, secure, and improve the service, and to comply with legal obligations.

How your data is stored

Data is stored on servers protected by industry-standard security measures. Passwords are kept only as salted hashes and are never readable by us.

We retain personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. Listings you delete are removed from public view; backups are rotated on a limited schedule. Aggregated, non-identifying statistics (for example, median prices by district) may be kept indefinitely.

Your rights

  • Access. Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction. Correct inaccurate data, including editing or removing your listings.
  • Deletion. Request deletion of your account and associated personal data.
  • Withdraw consent. Where processing is based on your consent (such as messenger contact), withdraw it at any time without affecting your ability to browse.

How to contact us

For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, contact us at the email address published on the site. A dedicated privacy contact will be added before launch.

Legal basis and compliance

We aim to comply with the Georgian Law on Personal Data Protection (2024) and to follow the principles of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including lawfulness, data minimisation, purpose limitation, and respect for your rights as a data subject.
